My 27th birthday has finally come and gone. And I’m finally excited and ready to take on this year, head on. It took a lot for me to get to this point, But here we are!
I couldn’t think of a better way to start this year, than starting this. Chapter 27; Rise of the Phoenix.
Dear Queen,
Happy 27th birthday, woman! Through it all, you’ve survived. You’ve made it 27 years and managed to keep your head up and your crown straight. No matter how much you’ve struggled and cried.. YOU. MADE. IT. and you will continue to push through and become a force to be reckoned with.
Keep moving, keep shaking and most importantly, keep learning.
Law of 27

You’ve always needed something to believe in. But not once did you think to believe in yourself. Every other part of your life; i.e.: your son, love, school, work and writing to name a few; were always a focal point in your life. You just never chose to believe in yourself.
But this year, you know how important Law of 27 is for you. Don’t follow the masses. Don’t worry about where society feels you should be focused. Focus on yourself, positive vibes and happiness. Make sure that you are ALWAYS vibrant, always reaching, always pushing. Believe in yourself. Love yourself. and be confident. Nobody can be better at being you than you, believe that.
Rise of the Phoenix
You had to spiritually die to get to this point. But just like the phoenix, you died to be reborn again. Stronger and even more brilliant and beautiful than you were before. You rebuilt yourself from the greatest parts of you from the past mended to the new pieces that you picked up over the last year. You rose; even when others didn’t think you could. You rose; even when YOU doubted that you could. You succeeded.. You did it.
You achieved a sense of peace and confidence that has opened you up to infinite possibilities.. and Just like the Phoenix; keep rising. Your path of life may change, you will walk the depths of many valleys, cross many oceans and hike through miles of fire. But you will always come out more polished and better than before. Do not be afraid. Do not hinder yourself. Keep your head up and your heart open. You are destined to be great.
Keep your peace; catch your blessing.
Just keep moving forward. The year of 27. This new chapter will be tremendous for you. And you are deserving. Allow God to bless you and accept them. This is not the year to question where you are in life, it’s the time to flourish and move forward in your right.
Cheers to 27; and every future year to come. Embrace the good, learn from the bad; and accept the reoccurring gift of life.
